Cape d'Or and Advocate Harbour

Experience the Bay of Fundy like never before. 

Feel the rush of the tides as you take in incredible views of Cape d'Or, a Bay of Fundy landmark and home to a historic lighthouse.

The sheer cliffs of Cape d'Or are 300 feet high, and preserve lava flows that erupted over 200 million years ago. The views paired with the iconic lighthouse and quaint fishing port of Advocate Harbour will give you a taste of life on the  water. Along the way, explore ancient air shafts and mine adits - the only features remaining of 19th century copper mines at Horseshoe cove.

If the tides algin, you’ll see the famous "Dory Rips" off Cape d'Or. On route back, have a full tour of Spencers Island from the water, a significant geosite within the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark.

Package includes:

• 2 hour boat tour to Advocate Harbour: departing from Spencers Island, hear stories working as a lobster fisherman in the Bay of Fundy and learn about geological significant locations. Please note that times are approximate and the tour could take slightly longer or shorter depending on wind direction, tides or stops along the way for photos.

• Use of a cold-water survival suit while on the boat *required

• Tour Cliffs of Fundy geosites, Spencers Island and Cape d'Or from the water
